Once there was a confused witch she got ejected out of gymnastics. She was very tall. She altered to swimming. She got ejected from that because the water was too shallow and she got hurt, and had to limp. In an instant people surrounded her staring. The word got around everywhere flyers were being distributed because she looked so funny, but they didn’t understand!

  2. JAIL!
    By Bennett

The waves bleed in the light
    From a crew that glows.
    They are all in jail.
But they sneak out all the time.
    And when they sneak out.
They soak their feet in a pool
    That dries up fast.
I do not like the way the tone of jail goes.

One day in the ancient city of Foongop a little monkey named Finkle was playing locate the banana. The winner would win a chamber of bananas. Midway through the game Finkle went through an entry to a very spacious room, where, he found the chamber of bananas! He thought it could last a century, but he ate them in a portion of a minute. His interior felt full but he was happy.

  5. The Ancient Entry
    By Julia
I was in the interior of a pyramid that was a big chamber. It was so ancient the entry could barely move! We descended the ramp trying to locate the mummy. It was a very precious mummy, and we found it floating on the surface of the stream. Once we picked it up there was an alarm going on saying “Intruder! Intruder!” It was so annoying. The mummy was about 20,000 centuries old! We took it through a passage and fed it a portion of our pie. Then we dropped it into a quarry.

  6. One day at church someone was hiding a toy volcano in the closet. He brought it out to share. He didn't know that it had Lava inside it, but he was wrong. It had burst out of it and it landed on his pants. Then on Tuesday he was reading a book called Fred the famous baseball player then he looked to his right side and he saw a purple Bear. On Saturday he and his mom went to the Ocean and saw a turkey playing in the surf with a nurse caring a purse. One day a guy hurt himself by trying to picth a curve ball. The next day a guy burned his pants by trying to make a cat purr. A guy went fishing using a lure made out of pure eyeballs. I sure like to hurl turkeys over the curb. One day a guy churned a fruit salad and landed in a babys pants. the end!

  7. The Horse in My Throat
    By Kassie

I had a hoarse throat. Ahhhhhh! It’s because I had a real horse in there! It’s the worst thing in my life. It’s worth a million bucks that horse. “You can search and search and search but you can’t catch me!” said the horse. and I ran away. So they search and search still for that horse that made me hoarse.

  8. The Girl
    By: Olivia
Once there was a girl. And she saw fir on a tree while she was driving to buy a pretty shirt. She also was out to buy a skirt. When she got out of the car she stepped in a lot of dirt! Then she stepped out of the car and realized she was giving birth to a baby! Then she cleaned her shoe off and felt thirst in her body. She was going to buy a puppy with fur on it. She was walking to go in to the mall and she saw a bird perched on a tree. She felt like she was hanging on a wire because she was pregnant! When she got in the mall she felt like she wanted to twirl, whirl and swirl. When she got in there a person who worked there asked if she wanted to be hired. Then she saw a flier and picked it up and bought it. First when she started to shop she found pretty pliers and picked them up and bought them. She heard a chirp outside because there window was open. When she got outside from shopping she felt drier than ever. She felt like a crier. When she was in there she stirred something to eat. She saw a fire outside and she screamed. She went in her car and drove away so fast that her tire went flat! THE END olivia

  9. The Day Pigs Grew Wings!
    By Davis

One morning while the animals that live on the barn were sleeping the pigs grew wings.

And when the barn animals awoke they found that the pigs grew wings.

The cows were resentful that the pigs grew wings.

So the cows organized a plan to get rid of the pigs for good.

While the cows were organizing there plan the rest of the animals were looking at the pigs with wings.

During the time the farmer woke up the pigs were telling the other animals that they were astonished that they grew wings.

All of a sudden a giant cow shaped vampire appeared.

The pigs started flinching when the vampire started to crush the pigs.

Then the rest of the pigs ran away.

But the pigs should have known that vampires don’t dress that quaint.

And now we believe that flying pigs are extinct. But we know that flying pigs there just endangered.

  10. I Recall When I Glimpsed . . .
    By Jessica
I recall when I glimpsed a sensitive boy in quaint clothes. I persuaded him to attempt to entertain me by explaining the phases of the moon. He abruptly rejected my idea. I started to mock him and persisted until I achieved my goal. He felt contempt.

  11. The Fruit Juice Dude
    By Paige
Once upon a time, there was Fruit Juice Dude. He only drank fruit juice. His favorite juice was prune juice. One day he decided he wanted a pet. But he didn’t want to buy a pet. So he decided he would build a trap. After he built the trap he put some pet food in it. That night when the moon was out a skunk went into the trap. SLAM went the door to the trap. The next morning when the Fruit Juice Dude woke up he checked on the trap. When he got there the skunk was in a mood. A bad mood. So the Fruit Juice Dude let the skunk out in his house. He tried to feed the skunk juice out of a spoon but the skunk didn’t like juice. Especially prune juice. The Fruit Juice Dude didn’t like that so he shooed the skunk away with a broom and never saw the skunk again.

  14. The Bird Girl

    By Claire

Once there was a girl who gave birth to a bird. She twirled,
Swirled and whirled all the way home. Where she lived on First Street. When she got in her house. She saw baby bird had grown fur!!! Ho no said the girl. So she went to get pliers to get the fur off of her baby bird. Then she came back and her bird was chirping of thirst. Took her bird for a ride in the car. In the car the seats where under skirts. She went to an interview and got hired. Her bird asked what do you work on. I put wires together. There were still in the car when the bird saw a fir tree on a flier. The next day the girl had twin birds. When the last bird came out she said that’s my third bird! When she got back in the car had a flat tire!!! But she still twirled ,swirled and whirled all the way home. When she got back home her house was on fire!!! Because… her other bird was in the dryer trying to get drier! Her bird was grounded in the ground! Where it got dirt on it’s fur. The others stirred cookie batter for the cookies. In there best shirts! Then one of them started to cry. The twin called her a big fat crier. This made the twin cry even more. Then the cookies were ready, and everything was ok.

  18. The Weird Giant
    By Chase

One day a giant went golfing. He hit a bear cub. Then the cub took the giant’s gingerbread cookie. The giant said “That cost me a cent.” So the giant went to the gym to work out. When he was doing his pushups he fell through the floor and broke his credit card. Then he called his girl friend on his one button cell. All of a sudden a go cart hit him. Then the giant went to the circus and couldn’t figure out the password to get in. So he flew to China and ate a killer pork sandwich at Wendy’s. A guide showed this weird giant how to ride a calf and go disco roller skating.

  19. Doggy-Go-Round

    By Emma

One warm summer day there was a fair. There was a little girl who was envious of her friend, because she got to go to the fair. She was filled with grief. Finally she talked her mom into letting her go. So off they went. She said “Hey mom look a merry-go-round.” There were many dainty children on it. The opponents on it were making quite a performance. There was a surplus of children on it, so there weren’t enough horses. There was a very long line, the girl was resentful. Suddenly everyone heard barking, then they noticed their children were riding on dogs. “Dogs What!” One of them shouted. “This is astonishing!” Another said.
“I propose we sue the park, and ruin there reputation.” One by one they all agreed to shut down the park. Some of them kept shouting “I want my money back!” That day the girl was sad and happy at the same time. For one thing she didn’t get to have fun at the fair, but she had seen the most amazing thing ever. She said to herself “This was the best day of my life!”

  20. THE QUARRY

A century ago a robber intruded on an ancient chamber and located a secret passage to a quarry. The quarry had a ramp just north of it. The robber jumped to the ramp but couldn’t get there. He fell into two portions of the pit. One had lots of precious diamonds, and the other was a big surface of dust and rock. He felt the surface and found a lever. He pulled it, and found an entry to a tunnel. He descended down the interior of the tunnel and found a spacious hall way.

His friend said, “You might want to pause for a second,” because he saw a big tiger! “Ha!” he laughed. “That tiger cannot beat me!” Too bad for him because he was taught a lesson so… he … um … moved …um … to Florida.

  30. Julia, I can see how the alarm going "Intruder! Intruder!" would be very annoying for those mummy hunters. That part made me laugh along with them serving a portion of pie to the mummy. I imagine the mummy was hungry after 20,000 centuries. Great job tying your spelling words together into a suspenseful, silly story.

  31. All the stories are great fun to read. I particularly like the rhymes and circuitous stories - stories that wrap around/ draw you in a circle and reach a conlusion even if it is nonsense. A good demonstration of rhyming is Jaden's The Law Breaker and Maddie's The Large Cage. The circuitous stories that stood out are Davis' The Day the Pigs Grew Wings and Chase's The Weird Giant. I'd love to see the spelling words accentuated - perhaps everyone could underline their spelling words to make them stand out. Keep up the great work!
